BRIEF PRESENTATION
The purpose of the Social Cooperative Enterprise BIO-RIZA Quality Products of Halkidiki Mountains is to promote the sustainability of the environment, to contribute to social and economic equality, to protect and develop the common goods. More detailed, the activities carried out by BIO-RIZA is the management and commercial exploitation of local arboricultural super foods, local aromatic and medicinal plants, local beekeeping products, local specialized animal products, local cereals, pasta and sweets, vegetables and other traditional products.
ROLE IN PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
BIO-RIZA, through its agronomist, undertakes to inform the Scientific Team about the batching process that is followed during the standardization of oregano and mountain tea and the annual production program, in order to precisely determine the products’ sampling rate. It also provides the samples to be analyzed and the final products that participate in the exhibitions.
