BRIEF PRESENTATION
Anaptyxiaki Etairia Ennia Chorion Kissamoy A.E. standardizes and packages chestnuts since 2010, which are available in the internal market (Crete, Athens, Northern Greece) in small packages under the brand name “Mountain Chestnut of Crete” and to a lesser extent, in larger packages. The company’s participation in the effort to qualify Cretan chestnut as a PDO is important.
ROLE IN PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Anaptyxiaki Etairia Ennia Chorion Kissamoy A.E., through its packaging and standardization manager, undertakes to inform the Scientific Team about the batching process that is followed during the standardization of chestnut and barley flour and the annual production program, in order to precisely determine the products’ sampling rate. It also provides the samples to be analyzed and the final products that participate in the exhibitions.
